Under the expert eye of the award-winning winemaker, Alex Russell, Russell & Suitor Wines has raised the bar of wine making in South Australia’s Riverland region for the last six years. Alex Russell’s reputation for producing some of the finest alternative wines in Australia is well earned. This Son of a Bull Pinot Noir is a semi translucent vibrant dark red colour with a light red hue. Aromas of red cherry and rhubarb intermingle with dried herb and spicy cedar notes. Savoury red cherry and rhubarb fruits drive the light weighted palate. Bright acidity with some dried herb characters lying underneath. Fine grained tannins with a spicy red fruited aftertaste.
