- Chateau Musar is always fantastic and the most recently released 2015 vintage once again, does not disappoint. A superbly smooth but structured wine. Old vine Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan blend together to create an exceptional wine. Musar will only release a new vintage when they are completely sure that it is ready and this vintage is certainly ready. You will discover notes of vanilla and spices, and on the palate you will discover the typcial intense and concentrated flavours of this wine. It’s full of volume and characterised by forest and black fruits with elegant spice. The tannins are soft and juicy and it has a lengthy finish. Chateau Musar Red 2015 is once again a vibrant, powerful vintage that can be drunk now or cellared well it will keep for decades. It remains a great match for red meats, especially game, seasonal casseroles and also mature cheeses. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan.
