  1. Cormons Verduzzo Friulano Fior di Mandorlo.  The Verduzzo grapes grow in a soil rich in limestone, phosphorus, potassium, and iron characteristically called "Ferreti". The hand-harvested grapes spend six-seven months on the lees and a year in large oval oak barrels. Aromas of rennet apple, pear and peach waft out of the glass and continue on the palate along with ripe persimmons and dried figs. This is a full-bodied dessert wine with a rich, silky texture.
